Video Editor (the “App”) is a video and photo editor for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro that edits, composes, and exports your media entirely on your device. This document contains two parts: Part 1 — Privacy Policy and Part 2 — Terms of Use (EULA). By downloading or using the App you agree to both.

Part 1 — Privacy Policy

1. Summary (the short version)

Everything below is the detail behind those five lines.

2. Scope

This policy covers the Video Editor app distributed by Dishith Dhanani on the Apple App Store. It does not cover Apple’s own services (the App Store, iCloud, the Photos app), which are governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

3. Information we collect

None. Concretely, by category:

Category Collected? Notes
Contact info (name, email, phone) No There is no sign-up, login, or account.
Photos & videos No Processed on-device only; never transmitted.
Audio & voice recordings No Voiceovers are written only into the App’s own sandbox. See section 4.
Face data & biometrics No The App performs no face detection, face recognition, or face mapping. See section 6.
Usage data / analytics No No analytics SDK of any kind is linked into the App.
Diagnostics & crash logs No We receive no crash reports. Apple may collect these only if you opted in to share analytics with Apple, in iOS Settings.
Identifiers (IDFA, device ID) No The App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission because it does not track.
Location No The App never requests location access.
Purchases No The App is free and contains no in-app purchases.
Contacts, calendar, health, financial data No Never requested.

Because the App has no backend service, there is no server that could receive your data even in principle. The App contains no networking code, no third-party SDKs, and no remote configuration.

4. Your media and the on-device pipeline
